Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor

This was taken while we were waiting for the boat to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. You can just see it beside Justice's head. The only cost to go to the memorial is your time while you wait. The Navy runs the shuttle.
This is the base of a gun turret.
This is the view of the memorial from the entrance. What is not captured is the solemn silence. When you read some of the information here and in the museum, it can get quite emotional. This is the final resting place of hundreds of servicemen because the ship went down so fast. It sank in less than nine minutes after the forward ammunition magazine was struck by a bomb. Since 1982, thirty survivors have been interred here with their shipmates.
From the bottom up.
Our future.
Those who sacrificed all.
Our proud flag representing our country.
Our Heavenly Father.
That's what I see in this photo.
