Alfred E. for Edlin Newman

They just got off the bus and walked through the door. The wind chill was reported at zero. His little ears were red. At this point they had no ideal why we were taking their picture. Colt didn't where his hat at all.
So dopey looking. You can see his ears are red in this one.

Chef Colt

Colt had to make dinner for a scout project. He made hot dog bun pizza. I passed.
This was a joint effort by the guys at making turkey cup cakes. I passed on these too.

One Cool Colt

We're not sure what prompted him to wear the shades to bed. But he fell asleep with them on and wore them all night. He doesn't move much when he sleeps.

Birthday Breakfast for Dinner

Happy face birthday meal. Waffles with whipped cream and boysenberry syrup eyes, egg nose and a bacon smile. Who said 42 is old?
With only one waffle iron, it takes a while to get food ready for six and not have line jumpers. Justice was showing his ribs as proof that he didn't have long to wait.

New Door!

I found out this past spring that my sliding door had lost it's seal and needed to be replaced. Once I got all the fishing and hunting done that needed doing, I got around to fixing my humble abode. It gets cold here in November, maybe I should have done this in the summer.
It turned out well. Very nice.
